This project was commissioned by Scenic Rim Regional Council and features a Feathertail Glider and Greater Glider to transform this corner on the main street of Beaudesert. These species are found within this Council region. More awareness of glider species is needed across all of South East Queensland to ensure their survival in the future. Thank you to Yellow-bellied Glider Project for taking me out to survey population numbers and experience gliders in their natural habitat and to Wildlife Queensland for supporting this project.

These seaters were both exciting and challenging to design and paint. The install process had me free handing the shapes to find the best flow around the angles and curves. I’m so pleased to help transform this area into a vibrant space and to have included Charter Hall staff in the design process. The staff use these outdoor areas around work hours so it was a pleasure to talk with them and run a vote on the concepts I designed for their space.
